Ingredients

  • ingredient 1: 12 tbsp unsalted butter

  • ingredient 2: 16 oz mini marshmellows

  • ingredient 3: 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • ingredient 4: 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • ingredient 5: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ingredient 6: 8 cups toasted rice cereal

  • ingredient 7: 8 oz semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1


melt butter over medium heat in a large pot then add marshmellows stir until fully melted


Step 2


add cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract, and stir until evenly mixed


Step 3


remove from heat and add rice cereal, stir until roughly even


Step 4


line a 9-by-13-inch, pan with parchment or wax paper. empty marshmellow-rice mixture into the pan and shape so the surface is even do not compress the mixture too hard


step 5


once cool, slice into rectangular bare and remove from pan.


step 6


in a medium pot, melt the chocolate chips.


step 7


once melted, cover mashmellow-rice bars. place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, until chocolate hardens
